Red Pine Software's Government Series is designed to drill students on facts about the United States Government and the American Presidents. 

Questions are divided into different levels, with each level covering more difficult questions. Learning occurs gradually as the student progresses through the various levels. A student advances to a new level after answering at least 90% of the questions on the current level correctly.

The application is extremely easy to use. The student simply reads the question,  selects the proper multiple choice answer, and clicks the Answer button. If the answer is correct, the application will respond with “Correct”, and the next question will be shown. If the question is answered incorrectly, the application will label both the incorrect and correct answers. The system keeps track of wrong answers, and repeats the questions until the student answers correctly.

The application includes an administration tool that can be used by a parent or teacher to add new students, monitor a student's progress, change lesson levels, set student grade level, and specify a time-delay between questions.
