Red Pine Software's Math Flashcards is a software application designed to drill students on elementary arithmetic. The application covers addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Questions are divided into different levels, with each level having an increasing degree of difficulty. Learning occurs gradually as the student progresses through the various levels. A student advances to a new level after answering at least 90% of the questions on the current level correctly.

The application is extremely easy to use. The student simply reads the math question, types an answer, and clicks the answer button. If the answer is correct, the application will respond with “Right!”, and the next question will be shown. If the question is answered incorrectly, the application will cross out the incorrect answer, and will display the correct answer. The system keeps track of wrong answers, and repeats the questions until the student answers correctly.

The application includes an administration tool that can be used by a parent or teacher to add new students, monitor a student's progress, change lesson levels, set student grade level, and specify a time-delay between questions.
